Over the past few months here at Clubclass we have been working hard to bring to you Corporate Clothing that doesn’t cost the Earth. In the UK, businesses account for over 85% of total emissions - making corporate action the number 1 priority in helping stop climate change. We are proud to announce that we have partnered with Carbon Neutral Britain to measure and offset our carbon footprint, to become Certified as a Carbon Neutral Business.

Every time you buy a Clubclass suit through our stock service or work with us to create a bespoke uniform, you are supporting a wide range of projects via Carbon Neutral Britain – who select projects not just on emissions, but also their wider impact – providing secondary benefits via education, employment, clean water, and a positive impact on the local wildlife and ecology.

You support projects such as the Hydroelectric project in Chile. Located in the Tinguiririca River upper valley, this Hydroelectric project is around 120km south of Santiago. The power plant generates certified emission reductions (CERs) by displacing electricity generation from grid connected fossil fuel-fired power plants that would otherwise be generating electricity. You also support projects such as the The Burgos Wind Project in the Philippines. At the time it was built, it was also considered to be one of the largest wind farms in South East Asia. It is located in one of the best areas in the country to generate clean energy from wind. The 150-MW facility has fifty (50) Vestas V90 wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3 MWs. The wind farm has a substation which is connected to a 43 KM 115 kV Transmission Line to the Laoag substation of the grid operator, the NGCP (National Grid Corporation of the Philippines).
